Friends of Living Wisdom Project

Becoming a Friend of LWP is a way to stand close to the heartbeat of our work without the commitments of board service. Friends are our wider circle of support—people who feel aligned with our mission and want to participate in the unfolding of this project in meaningful, flexible ways.

Friends might:

  • Offer professional expertise as a consultant or advisor

  • Join us in brainstorming sessions, planning circles, or creative problem-solving

  • Lend a hand at work parties, events, or community gatherings

  • Stay closely connected to what we’re doing—more intimate than the newsletter, less formal than board service

It’s a place for people who care about nature, healing, community, and the possibilities of this project… and want to contribute at a pace and in a way that feels right for them.

If you’re curious, inspired, or simply want to be part of the circle, we welcome you. Go ahead and opt-in for the “Friends of Living Wisdom” email list below.

Board of Directors

Serving on the Living Wisdom Project board is an invitation to help steward a way of doing things that honors nature, community, and inner life as much as spreadsheets and strategy.

We’re looking for board members who are curious, collaborative, and willing to roll up their sleeves as we grow. You don’t need to be a nonprofit expert; you do need a genuine interest in leadership, personal and collective healing, and building community with care.

As a board member, you’ll help:

  • Shape the vision and direction of LWP as we develop programs and network with retreat facilitators

  • Hold the organization accountable to its mission, values, and ethical standards

  • Offer your skills (professional, creative, relational, or practical) in a spirit of shared leadership

  • Support a governance model that is less about hierarchy and more about thoughtful, grounded decision-making together

If you feel a “yes” in your body reading this—whether quiet or loud—we’d love to talk with you.
